Four Scientists of Our School were Selected into the List of 2020 Chinese Highly Cited Researchers by Elsevier

On April 22, Elsevier officially released the 2020 Chinese Highly Cited Researchers list.

The 2020 Chinese Highly Cited Researchers listcovers373 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions. Among 296 universitieswhere researcherswere selected, 38werefrom Xiamen University, including 4 scientists from our School: ProfessorsJiahuai Han, Shengcai Lin,Ningshao Xia and Gaoliang Ouyang.

It is reported that since 2014, the annual list ofChinese Highly Cited Researchershas made an important impact in the academic circles at home and abroad, taking the globally authoritative citation and index database, Scopus,as the data source of Chinese scholars' scientific research achievements, and adopting the method designed by Soft Science (Shanghai soft science education Information Consulting Co., Ltd.). In 2020, a total of 4023 Chinese scholars with the most global influence in each disciplinewere selected into the list, which is significantly higher than that in the past 6 years, covering 84 first-class disciplines in 10 discipline categories of the Ministry of education.
